Iran denies connection to riots around US embassy in Baghdad

The Iranian foreign ministry has issued an official statement rejecting US President Donald Trump's remarks that Iran is behind the violent riots surrounding the US embassy in Baghdad.

With Benghazi, the Obama administration denied that anything was happening, let our people die, and blamed everyone but the bad guys.
In this case, the Trump Administration acknowledged something bad was happening, sent in the Marines, and called out the bad guys.

This is a perfect excuse for another round of crushing sanctions.
Perhaps we could also covertly have some surrogates kill their surrogates in Iraq as well. There has been a fair sized civil conflict going on in the Shi’ite areas, against the current Iran-friendly Iraqi Government, and Iranian influence in Iraq generally. Hundreds have been killed, Iranian consulates burned, and the Prime Minister of Iraq recently resigned. Things have been boiling over there.
