Consider that our adversaries/enemies around the world are watching this closely, looking for signs of weakness. We are being measured all the time. This attack on a U.S.embassy compond IS serious — in that it could lead others to miscalculate our willingness and resolve to defend ourselves.
You can be sure that the Pentatgon and State Department are very concerned at this hour.
But it’s just a “protest”.
It’s not much of an “attack”, only the far perimeter was violated. The area is designed to allow that.
Trump sent in a bunch of Devil Dogs to ensure that nothing more damaging happens.
So it’s just another “protest”. After a while the Iraqi authorities will remove them
The interesting thing will be the vote in parliament to kick out US troops.
