radar-guided counter-battery fire has been available since the end of WWII, so i assume they’re not doing this because the rockets are being fired from hospitals or schools full of children and Moslem “Nuns” (if such a thing exists) ...
We have counter artillery and and can easily track incoming and immediately send out massive hell. The problem is that the scum will launch from neighborhoods and by the time chain of command and lawyers decide a response is “legal”,they are gone.

I used to teach the method in Iraq. Basically, you analyze the crater to determine the azimuth it came in on, and backplot that on a map. If you have more than one crater, where the lines intersect on the map is the point of origin. It takes at least 3 craters to get an accurate location. All very low tech, but it works. The problem we ran into in Iraq is that they would fire them from disposable tubes in the middle of the wasteland, jump in the truck, and be gone before the rockets even landed.
Sounds like they need to be contained, like Iran or North Korea.

Only the MSM and their dupes call it the Green zone. It’s official name is the International Zone aka IZ. It’s been called that since 2003 because it’s where all the embassies are.
The MSM calls it the green zone to draw direct parallel to the Lebanese civil war which had a “green zone” that was controlled by the government and Christians. It eventually fell to the Islamists thus the MSM’s desire to use the term for Baghdad’s IZ.
Likely launching from hospitals and schools.
