They’re impeaching him for winning the presidency.

Now they want to impeach him for carrying out the duties of the president.

What the founding fathers forgot to do is to find a way to stop congress from abusing its powers.

They didn’t forget and this contingency is accounted for.

The entire House stands for election every two years.

The best solution IMHO.

No, they did not forget. They left it in the hands of the people. What they did not do but has been later argued upon was term limits. Through term limits, the Congress would not be able to abuse its power and if it does then the people would be able to remove to body politic. It is time to give the power back to the people and get rid of billion dollar campaigns and career politicians who get rich off of the people’s dime. The only way a sitting Representative can be removed from office is either to 1) vote them out in the next election or 2) have them expelled from the House. Although the latter is not a removal from office rather a blockage of performing one’s duties in the House.

The sooner the people can get term limits upon the representative government the better it will be for all. Unfortunately this will need a Constitutional Conventiuon in order for it to be done. That ain’t happening any time soon.
