A better solution would be to kill off the climate commies and let the camels survive. They do much less damage.

Is camel tasty? A now departed friend of mine who was well versed in Arab culture and Islam would sometimes say jokingly “Camel is permitted ... but NOT recommended.”

Could there be unintended consequences? Such as a major increase in vultures, rodents, flies, etc. with all these camel carcasses rotting in the outback? I’m assuming that they don’t plan to remove the carcasses but would just leave them there.

This is one of those things that makes you wonder what the real backstory is, the one behind the scenes.
Australia had “too many” kangaroos for a long time. Kangaroos are food. How can a country have “too much” food? Isnt there someone out there besides me that would be happy to help out the Aussies by eating a few? Ok, ya, there are the enviro/animal whackos...
But what about the camels? Those are feral. They don’t belong there. Arent they “displacing indigenous species”? You know what camels are made of? Food! How the hell do you get to the place that there is so much food you don’t know what to do with it?
Don’t even get me started on Americans pissing and moaning about pigeons.
They'll save the cute Koala bears from the wild fires, but shoot the ugly camels.
Our friends down under don’t have the most stellar record when it comes to engaging in war against their animals.
They are not being killed to *help global warming*.
They’re being killed because they are an invasive species that has worn out its welcome and is becoming a threat to the local populations/
They are feral, wild animals and nasty by nature to boot.
They should have been obliterated long ago.
