Iranian retaliation begins with missile attack on Iraqi airbase

Initial reports stated that 9 rockets hit the Ain al-Assad airbase on Tuesday. The base hosts American soldiers.
Heavy missile attacks were carried out by the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps on the Ain al-Assad air base in Iraq that hosts both Iraqi and US soldiers on Tuesday night. Nine missiles hit the airbase, according to Al-Hadath.

Please correct me if I’m wrong, but if that’s the Moon in the launch video, it appears the Iranian missiles were launched to the east? IIRC from geography class, Iraq is west of Iran?

If they were only using rockets, I might agree. They’re using inter regional missiles though. That doesn’t seem like a wise move. They aren’t cheap (unless they’ve been assured that their supply will be refreshed).

President Trump should be moved to a safe site to speak. Can't trust those pesky Iranians, might have sleeper cells in D.C.

Oil has jumped almost 3 bucks a barrel, 65.40.
Maybe they used regional missiles to show they were “serious” for public consumption. I will wait to see what develops from here. If Scott Adams is right the Mullahs will celebrate their “revenge” and then just lie low.
