Surveillance footage capturing the outside of Jeffrey Epstein’s cell during his first suicide attempt in July is gone forever, prosecutors confirmed Thursday in a bombshell court filing.
The revelation comes after Assistant US Attorney Jason Swergold told White Plains federal Judge Kenneth Karas in December that the footage was missing — and then backtracked the next day, claiming it had been preserved.
In a Thursday filing, Swergold admitted that the Metropolitan Correctional Center had preserved footage amid the investigation — only it was the wrong cell in the Lower Manhattan jail.
“The Government has learned that the MCC inadvertently preserved video from the wrong tier within the MCC, and, as a result, video from outside the defendant’s cell on July 22 – 23, 2019 (i.e. the requested video) no longer exists,” the letter reads.
A lawyer for Epstein’s one-time cellmate, Nicholas Tartaglione, has been seeking the footage in order to prove that his client — a former cop who is awaiting trial for a quadruple homicide — is not responsible for the neck injuries Epstein sustained while they shared a cell weeks before the suicide.

So here’s how to solve who did it:
Who was in charge / on duty that night? Who and how many had access to the film?
ALL of them get arrested, questioned separately, and if no one talks or rats out the guilty, they ALL go to jail.
Problem solved.

Even state prisons don’t erase videos for several years so right there it’s a big fat lie.

There never was a question that Jeffrey Epstein was murdered and that the prison is hiding it. Two guards who supposedly did not perform their duties for better than two hours. Security tapes that were erased. Three broken bones in his neck. Cuts on his neck that don’t match the cloth that was around his neck. This is nonsense and somebody should pay and pay dearly. The man obviously was murdered to keep him from talking.
.…….I confess to No Knowledge of who murdered Epstein. That said, I believe a couple things, to wit:
1. It was a government intelligence operation and that was likely Britain in order to protect the monarchy.
2. American intelligence operatives were probably involved also.
What a pathetic criminal joke. It is obvious that Epstein was murdered. And to think that our leaders wonder why people are cynical about them and their behavior...What a pathetic joke.
There is more to this than British royalty. There are no flight logs for Epstein’s Manhattan townhouse. There is an organization with over 500 individuals who disburse over 4 trillion dollars a year. It was Epstein’s main target.
I had indisputable proof that Jeffry Epstein committed suicide. Unfortunately my dog ate it.
