Pretty funny. I remember when TNG first came out. I called it “Star Trek for women”.

And he’s hinting at my tag line...

What? Is there going to race of violent irrational people screaming ceaseless unintellible chants at the primary antagonists?

I called it “Star Trek for women”.

I'm a woman and I hated it.

Picard was the worst captain ever. Every plot line was solved by talking things over--which does not work in real life. And the show was mostly leftist pipe dreams. Ugh. TNG was a stain on the Star Trek franchise.

A traditional Catholic friend of mine called it the "Novus Ordo Star Trek".

“Star Trek for women”

Yep. They added an officer to the ship just to have a “Ship’s Counselor” who had super-empathy to detect feelings. Then they gave her a seat on the bridge right next to the Captain. That’s some cucked up **** right there.

I was really excited when it started, but found the stories uninteresting. Once they introduced the Borg, the entire show picked up. I think it ultimately had at least as many good episodes as the original series. Interesting that they had to have the first Officer Riker on hand to supply the manliness that was lacking in Picard/Stewart.

Pretty much agree with your “feminization” assessment of STNG, and thought Patrick Stewart an odd casting choice and a bit of a pretentious ass...Missed Shatner’s Captain Kirk and Company’s kick ass style of exploration...

Gotta thank him though for running his mouth and saving me 2 lost hours of my life and the ticket price not wasted on this woke tripe...

Yeah it was more like a college teachers lounge then Star Trek : )

Too much ‘feelings’ and not enough green women.
