Adam Schiff won't say if he'll prosecute Trump in impeachment trial

House Intelligence Committee Chairman Rep. Adam Schiff was mum Sunday on if he will be one of the impeachment managers presenting the case against President Trump during the Senate trial.

“I’ve told the speaker I will play whatever role that she and the caucus think will be helpful,” the California Democrat told CBS “Face the Nation.”

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said she will meet with her caucus Tuesday morning to discuss when they will transmit the articles of impeachment to the upper chamber for the trial to begin.

Under past precedent, the Senate trial cannot begin until the articles are formally transmitted from the House.

During an interview with ABC’s “This Week,” Mrs. Pelosi did not suggest which members will be named as impeachment managers to present the charges.

By not having a full-blown Senate trial on the impeachment articles McConnell has tied President Trump's hands from defending himself and this gives the rats liberty to continue on there next witch hunt against him! This is not fair!!😡! McConnell made it very clear to Trump..YOU HAVE NO CHOICE, you do it our way or the highway!!! .. McConnell is doing a disservice to the president and the American people! If it is not dismissed the progs will constantly break all rules during the trial and screech “cover-up” when they are called on it and forced to stop.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Nancy tries to designate the staff attorney, (and lawfare member), Letter, (yes that’s his last name), as their manager. McConnell won’t allow it but there will be a fight over the attempt.
