From what I’ve seen on the news, most of these “Canadians” were in fact Iranians living in or going to school in Canada.
If Ukraine had grounded its flights out of Iran like every other country in the world had done, those “Canadians” would still be alive.

I still feel that there were people on that flight that represented significant risk to the Mullahs and their co-conspirators if they were arrested. Flights took off from the same airport and followed the same protocols both pre and Post the shoot down of the Ukranian airliner.
Why that one flight, somebody is not talking but I think it was a “hit” based on who was on it and where they were going
