Since I was laid off and just signed away my security clearances, I had to be escorted out of the building. I don't think I ever hated Obama and business-hostile California more than at that moment.

As the Dotcom bubble hit, the tech company I was working for called all employees in for an emergency meeting. We were all in conference rooms and the boom was lowered. The company was filing for bankruptcy and no longer in business effective at the top of the hour. A deputy would escort an employee to their desk and allow them to pick up their personal belongings. A sad but happy day.
