A top White House aide on Russia was reportedly escorted from the building after being placed on administrative leave during a security-related probe.

Andrew Peek, the head of European and Russian affairs at the National Security Council, was escorted from the White House on Friday, Bloomberg reported on Saturday.

Peek, who took the position in November, was placed on administrative leave pending the security investigation, Axios reported.

He is the third person in that position to leave in the past year.

One to the back of the head and a trip down the garbage Shute would seem appropriate if he was a traitor.

Am in agreement with you. The State Dept. has a lot of power maybe even more than the Oval Office which is why Hillary wanted to be over it. The dems had eight years to put the wrong people in powerful positions at the SD.

If they had enough on him to “escort him from the premises” they had enough on him to “walk him out in handcuffs”. Mr Barr? Mr Barr?

From the article he was focused on Iran and Iraq at the State Dept prior to this gig. Doesn’t sound like a Russia expert to me, why is he on the Russia desk?? Also, as an Iran expert how much did he work on Obama/Kerry’s Iran deal?? Is he a former Kerry guy, who is in there digging dirt for his old boss? Who recommended/appointed this guy?? That person needs to be doing the perp walk as well!!!

"...The State Dept. has a lot of power..."

Too much, no doubt.

Perhaps Trump is the man with balls big enough to finally 'fundamentally transform' America by moving the Dept of State into a phone booth. In Kansas. And then establishing and focusing on the new Dept of States.

Essentially to perform the long forgotten function of the Senate. Obviously, not to illegally assume any official powers of the Senate. Just to be high-profile, Exec-branch/level diplomats. Guv-appointed, representing American states in an analogous way international diplomats represent nation states.

The State ambassadors would NOT be housed in DC and the occasional meetings would be rotated among the host states.

America First works. Because it shifts the focus of national activity correctly back to our nation.

Thus, the logical next phase is States / Americans First. To advocate/discuss a re-focus to happily diverse state level interests as opposed to the central planners' hateful progressive vision. What better way to kick start that process/conversation without needing a the terrible lot we have currently on the Hill to do anything.

This is pure speculation on my part but I do know this, the gay mafia in DC is strong and gets what it wants! If somebody wanted to stay “in the closet” he or she could be easily blackmailed.

You've laid out a very good plan to disrupt the corruption in the SD, think our very stable genius President would like to implement a plan similar to that. Now what do we we with the FBI and DOJ?

He’s doing the peacocky white collar on blue shirt thing. But he’s doing it with an anemic tie knot and a lame tie pattern.

Trump should have fired him for having bad taste.

My guess a leaker ... Trump has stated setting them up and cleaning them out.
= = = = = = = = = = = = = =

True and about time.

What concerns me though is this guy was appointed in year 3 of the administration and wasn’t there long enough to get the seat warm.

Got to get serious about the appointments, be better off recruiting them on a street corner that to ‘move or promote’ someone that has been working for the Government for more than ‘5 years’...

Hate to say it but when the Man has had 3 years and still appointing ‘bad apples’, it is somewhat like BO ‘complaining’ for 8 years that the bad economy and ANYTHING else that wasn’t quite ‘right’ was because of W’s policies.

When PDJT ‘struck gold’ economy wise in the first quarter, BO was quick to say HIS POLICIES were the results of PDJTs good fortune.

And the IDIOTS believe him...

Something tells me that he was a “plant” and the Dems have got some “new” evidence they will spring here shortly. The timing is suspect. In long enough to do searches, read documents, talk to people, etc.

“Security” breach. Yes. He was a plant.
