Department of Justice appointed federal prosecutor John Durhams expanded criminal probe into the FBIs investigation into President Donald Trumps campaign is focusing on a slew of government documents that surfaced during the first several months of Trumps presidency. The documents, which are being kept close hold, were hinted at by Attorney General William Barr in an interview he did with NBC in December and reported on by CBS News Friday.
On Friday, Catherine Herridge senior national security reporter with CBS first reported that a strong paper trail of documents is being reviewed by Durham. Those documents span a time period from January, 2017 until May 2017, just before the appointment of Special Counsel Robert Mueller.
However, Barr has already suggested at the expansive nature of Durhams probe in December and hinted at the discoveries. And in October, 2019 reports revealed that Durham had expanded the scope of his investigation and would investigate not only the origin of the bureau probe into Trumps campaign but also the post-election timeline.
Barr said in an interview with NBC in December, that Durham should spend just as much attention on the post-election period noting that the probe will not just focus on the origins of the investigation.
Barr said he asked Durham to look at the post Trump election because of some of the stuff that Horowitz has uncovered which to me is inexplicable.

Nah, the impeachment is intended to obfuscate the corruption of certain Dems. As long as this impeachment farce lasts, none of the actual corruption can be investigated or prosecuted. And once everybody is all worn out - you know, “tired of the lack of results” - the Deep State can derail any further investigations into Schiff, Pelosi, Biden, et. al. without much interference. At least, that’s what the plan seems to be.
Barr and Durhams boss is happy with them.
Sessions said the same thing. Whats he doing these days?

That sentence doesn’t even make sense. Put the bottle down.
Durhams job is to close as many potential avenues of corruption as possible. If he looks these issues over and concludes nothing has happened, then nobody ever will be held accountable.
You know what doesnt make sense? Believing some anonymous Q ball who hasnt gotten one thing right in the last 18 months.
It not only doesnt make sense it borders on insanity.

You’re brilliant. I don’t know anything about “Q.” Never clicked on a “Q” thread. Never asked anybody about “Q.” Never spent a minute trying to find out what “Q” is.
I can see that you have a pretty low Eye Q though.
Good one.
I don’t use Twitter or Facebook or Instagram or Snapchat.
In the Norman Mailer nonfiction book God in one brief passage he speculates about something I wonder about: is Satan using
computers and other technology as part of his evil spreading into the world?
As a Luddite I am prejudiced, full disclosure, but the hypnotic addiction of daily hours and hours of emails, tweets, streaming TV and movies and “staying connected” and young people I’ve known who said “My phone died and I need to get a replacement. Now. I feel really nervous like something’s wrong with me.” makes me wonder about it.
This happened to one young guy I knew whose smartphone was stolen in an armed robbery on the college campus. Nervous, sort of inconsolable. And depressed. Cop specifically told him not to try to figure out how to find and confront the robber. “It’s too dangerous. Let us handle it.” He said “But that’s my phone!” He even called his own phone and the robber talked to him and taunted him. Made it worse. Soon, he bought his new phone and moved on.
You have absolutely no faith in President Trump, do you? Sad
You have absolutely no faith in President Trump, do you?
I have faith in him.
Barr, Rosenstein, Wray, and the entire DOJ not so much.
Its more trust Sessions BS.

“Sessions said the same thing. Whats he doing these days?”
Steve Bannon knows.

It’s happening.
It is disappointing that he has not proceeded for indictment and trial for any of the perps. Some of the cases are open and shut with all the evidence needed already on record. We should be seeing people being sentenced after three years of investigation. I was a criminal investigator many years ago, and had I slow walked my cases like Durham and Barr and their teams, I would have been fired.
That’s rather optimistic if you ask me.
Youre just going to have to wait and see it play out in real time. A word of advice, watch Trump. Does he seem worried? Nervous? No, hes exuding extreme confidence. Trump says hell drain the swamp. I believe him. He doesnt play to lose. Id also advise you go outside of FreeRepublic and dig for real news. Those who are stuck here are woefully ignorant.
Denny Hastert was nailed for structured payments (e.g. avoiding mandatory reporting requirements on cash withdrawals over $10,000), used to pay hush money to a *boy* he had molested when the boy was a teenager.
And *he* was the guy who took over the GOP House in the wake of the Clinton scandal.
Sometimes “The Stupid Party” just isn’t a good enough explanation.
“Barr, who has been given full declassification authority by Trump, eluded in an interview that Durham may finish his probe by Spring or early this summer.”
Just in time for the Dims’ convention.
BS
The Durham report will come out in 2025, and it will say nothing more than “Mistakes were made, but no one made them”.
Yawn.
