This is not a court case. This is a one of a kind impeachment trial as laid out in the Constitution and precedent. The presiding Justice’s role is to maintain order and keep the two sides moving along. There was no censoring and I saw the video. Roberts is trying to keep it civil. That’s part of his responsibility.
Right. My point is that "keeping it civil" doesn't mean admonishing one side or the other over the content of their statements.
If Nadler and Schiff want to make wild, outlandish accusations about U.S. Senators on the "jury," then that's their prerogative.
