Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D-Calif.), the lead House manager in President Trump's Senate trial, said Sunday that there is nothing Democrats could have done differently during the impeachment process.
Ahead of the Senate’s likely vote to acquit President Trump on Wednesday, Schiff defended Democrats’ methods and said that he and his colleagues “proved” their case.
“Look, there's nothing that I can see that we could have done differently because as the senators have already admitted, we proved our case. We proved our case,” Schiff said on CBS's “Face the Nation.”

CBS’s Margaret Brennan asked Schiff if it was a “misstep” to drop the subpoenas of some witnesses, including for former White House national security adviser John Bolton, during the House inquiry.
Schiff said it “wasn’t at all,” noting that it could have been a couple of years before courts reached a decision on Bolton.

You don't like Trump. Fine. Tell us why you don't like him, and why someone else would be better for the American people. Then, let the American people decide if they agree with you or not. That is how all of this is supposed to work in America. Do you love this nation? Truly?
Today is the 75th anniversary of Auschwitz. Auschwitz is a horrible reminder of what can happen in the world when people who are CONVINCED they are right, and who hate groups of other people, can justify unspeakable actions.
Trying to undermine the process whereby the American people choose who they want in the White House, and entrapping well-meaning people while doing this, is an unspeakable action against what we are as a nation. It isn't the Holocaust, but it is an indefensible abuse of the power the American people gave you so that you could serve them.
Search your soul for integrity. Acting with honesty and integrity is the greatest thing you or anyone else can achieve as a politician. Whatever you may achieve with obfuscation and subterfuge will not last, and will not immortalize you. Being the best, most honest, most giving, and most ethical elected office holder you can be will not give you fame and adoration, but it will define your life as a very, very worthwhile one. Your choice.
How about a material witness? Embedded administrative state guardians of the money laundering telling us opinions of opinions of other people who heard someone say something about Trump not following their protocols is ridiculous. Trump shouldn’t follow their money laundering pyramid schemes.
