You sound like a libertarian, Andrew. Large systems are always inefficient at best, highly corrupt at worst, and prone to “black swan” events that attack their rigidity and uniformity and cause them to collapse.

Large systems also are breeding grounds for sociopaths. Sociopaths rise to the top—because they are more comfortable with the lying, butt-kissing and back stabbing needed to reach the pinnacle of large organizations.
