It is a desperate attempt to appeal to rat Catholics and others who need to find something/anything to justify staying Democrats. I know a few and they contort themselves into mental pretzels to justify staying loyal to a party led by baby killers.
A pro life democrat is a democrat so deluded as to be trivially insignificant
I as well know conservative Lutherans (in a church body that strongly opposes abortion) who do the same thing.
If I were the pastor I don’t know how I could commune them.
Isn’t it a sin to support such gross public sin?
