Barr has told those close to Trump that he may quit if president keeps tweeting about investigations

WASHINGTON - Attorney General William Barr has told people close to President Donald Trump - inside and outside the White House - that he is considering quitting over Trump's tweets about Justice Department investigations, three administration officials said, foreshadowing a possible confrontation between the president and his attorney general over the independence of the Justice Department.

So far, Trump has defied Barr's requests, both public and private, to keep quiet on matters of federal law enforcement. It was not immediately clear Tuesday whether Barr had made his posture known directly to Trump. The administration officials said Barr seemed to be sharing his position with advisers in hopes that the president would get the message that he should stop weighing in publicly on the Justice Department's ongoing criminal investigations.

"He has his limits," said one person familiar with Barr's thinking, speaking on the condition of anonymity, like others, to discuss internal deliberations.

You have to hand it to the pinwheels-for-eyes Leftys.

They've managed to keep these insane attacks up daily for nearly four years.

What Barr said was preemptive, because he knew they were letting McCabe skate with a Friday afternoon special.

And Barr is getting pressure from the Senate not to look into Biden.

If you look at Barr’s statement he mentioned pressure from Congress, too.

Trump should reply that unless Barr gives out the better part of a hundred indictments of high ranking Democrats and bureaucrats who *blatantly* broke major felony laws, that Barr might be looking at a new job.

Seriously, how long has it been since he replaced the ineffectual Jeff Sessions? Why are Republicans so freaking afraid of putting Democrat criminals in prison?

Trump is serious about getting leakers out of the White House.

Just suppose what would happen if he arranged for only one person working there to be told that Barr was considering leaving.

I hope that is what happened. That person’s head will end up on the platter.

What the DOJ says here doesn't exactly say the rumor isn't true.

“Barr also said he won't be "bullied" by anyone, whether that someone be Congress, editorial boards or the president.”

CONGRESS

Senators telling him the Country will come apart if the DoJ indicts a Biden.

This absolutely has to be quelled and soon. We need Barr...he’s done a terrific job. Trump can settle on the tweeting of these matters and let Barr work. He’s proven himself. This would be self inflicted and pointless. Things are going well what is the need for this.

For everyone one of you, there are 100 that want him to push back and call out frauds wherever they are.

His poll numbers are heading straight up. His Black support is at unheard levels for a Republican.

Keep tweeting Mr. President!

As Mark Levin said yesterday, if there is no tweeting, there is no Trump. He can’t stop tweeting. Barr can stick it!

Tweeting is here to stay, the next President is going to Tweet as much as Trump does. Get used to it.

Doesn’t address the rumor. Just says he has no plans to resign. Doesn’t deny the rumor and doesn’t say he didn’t say what he said to somebody.

Or - it seems to him inside the FBi and DoJ - with Senators calling - that Trump is the issue.

It’s many agencies versus Trump.

It’s going to be hard changing the Deep State when no one ever gets fired.

Bruce Ohr is still working in the DoJ!
