The entire Russia hoax is now intended to be a way to manipulate the President into “proving” he’s not favorable to the Russians. At least that’s the backup plan since they failed at removing him from office with it (or the Ukraine phone call). The whole thing is fake. It is a conspiracy theory, and too many Republicans are on record agreeing that the Russians “meddled” or whatever to actually call this thing out as the hoax that it is.
Not quite. Parts are completely fake, but Russia really was meddling. Their goal was to divide us as much as possible. They didn't want Hillary or Trump; they just wanted decent people to hate the petty tyrants on the left and they wanted globalist sissies to fear normal Americans. The left bit hard on the bait and finished the job of dividing us for the Russians.
