Sen. Bernie Sanders, the Democratic presidential frontrunner, said in an interview that aired Sunday that he would take military actions if China decided to strike Taiwan.
Sanders offered a glimpse into his position on national defense during a wide-ranging interview on "60 Minutes." The Vermont senator cemented his status as the party's frontrunner after a decisive victory Saturday in the Nevada Caucuses.
The Chinese consider Taiwan—a mountainous island with more than 23 million people—as a renegade province and lobbed ballistic missiles into the seas north and south of the island before its first fully democratic presidential election in 1996.

Sanders is an atheist, typical of communists, and as such lying to them means nothing. I don’t believe a word Sanders says. If, God forbid, he were to get elected, what he says now about China and Taiwan doesn’t mean a thing. He’ll say what it takes to get elected. Beware.

Bernie the Red would give the Republic of China/Taiwan (ROC to their friends) the same type of lethal aid Comrade Obama gave the Ukrainians to stop Russian aggression - NONE.

Sure, and then order the military to stand down while China nuked the crap out of us. Remember, Sanders’ primary goal is the complete and utter destruction the America he hates so much.
His plans to weaken the US means he will likely have to. My guess is that he would really punt on the issue.
After all of the FREE stuff Bernie plans on giving away to the population from the few remaining people left working who will be paying taxes, there won't be enough money to keep the military functional.
This guy is dangerous. But not nearly as dangerous as all of the idiots who will vote for him.
2 - if Trump did this tomorrow, Sanders would be criticizing him for it within minutes.
Military draft which would include 18 year old females in the name of equality. I wonder if the Berniebots will still support that notion.
