An attendee at the March 2, 2020, Fox News town hall asked Mike Bloomberg why he pushes gun control for the common man but surrounds himself with armed security.
The attendee said, You have an armed security detail that is likely equipped with the same firearms and magazines you seek to ban the common citizen from owning. Does your life matter more than mine or my familys?
Bloomberg responded by admitting to having an armed detail, and suggesting he needs armed protection because he gets more threats than the common man.

On February 3, 2020, Breitbart News reported that Bloomberg enjoyed armed security even as he campaigned on a platform of gun control for the common man.
The New York Post reported on Bloomberg referring to the NYPD as his own army, while Mayor of New York City. And on January 25, 2019, NRA-ILA reported that after his tenure as mayor ended, Bloomberg hired some of the same [NYPD] officers from his security detail to work for him privately. Yet he continued to push gun control for average Americans.
In 2017 Fox News sTucker Carlson pointed to the
hypocrisy of Bloombergs actions:

Did anyone see the tweet of mini mike eating pizza? The guy is clearly narcissistic, putting his hands and spit over everything.

The elite always have an excuse.
“Guns for me but not for thee” - Sen. Dianne Feinstein
I just watched part of his Super Tuesday speech. This guy is awful and listening to the crowd screaming for him is just depressing.
According to Bloomberg, it’s the frequency of threats that determines exercising 2nd amendment rights or not.
I must have missed that stipulation in the text of the Constitution.
Ladies it’s okay to be attacked and raped a couple times as long as it isn’t several times a day.
Jets, guns, mansions, cars, and all the excesses one can have.
But let the peasants eat cake.
FU Bloomberg and all of your ilk.
Yes, because he gets more threats, but listening to what he said, he gets more threats because, indeed, he’s more important than any of us.
A screaming crowd for Bloomberg, paid by the screams.
Anybody doubt that?
"My life is more important than yours or your family members"
Just for the record, Mini-Mike:
I’m not giving up mine, until YOUR GUARDS give up theirs.
And even then, I’m not giving them up. So here’s a great big giant American “GFYourself” and a middle finger to ya.
I applaud that Citizen for nuking that little fascist dwarf in public.
But watch your six, Citizen... this little creep holds grudges and has a lot of money.
He didn’t directly answer the guy.
I wonder what the going rate is for that. I cant imagine anyone getting excited enough for this guy to be out there screaming for him. So he must pay others to watch the crowd to make sure they get their moneys worth.

The elite always have an excuse.
Of course. Theyre not going to say openly because my life is more valuable than yours, though they think it.
When they kill unarmed citizens, they don't give them a warning. Most of them can't afford bodyguards.
Maybe, could you give them money to hire guards? All that money you are blowing for your stupid run for president, maybe can you buy guards for a lot of unarmed people?
How very narcissistic of you Doomy.
Let’s chat when you fire your team of armed guards. Till then; pound sand.
