Bernie Sanders Plots New Strategy To Foil Joe Biden
Guardian ^ | 7 Mar 2020

Bernie Sanders is giving his presidential campaign a “reset” as he goes head-to-head for the Democratic presidential nomination with Joe Biden, amid signs that the political revolution he hoped to ignite through a surge in voter turnout of young and marginalised Americans is failing to catch fire.

Sanders is also discarding his aversion to negative political campaigning and sharpening his attacks on Biden, running TV attack adds over the former vice president’s record of supporting social security cuts and free trade agreements, which could be particularly damaging in the Midwestern states.

In addition, the campaign is scrambling to make fresh appeals to African American and older voters, electoral groups that both came out heavily for Biden on Super Tuesday, when he swept the south and won 10 of the 14 states at stake.

Joe could be foiled by just giving him a Chinese finger trap.

If Sanders fails to mention Biden’s obvious mental deterioration, then we know for sure that the fix is in and he has been bought (once again).

Come on, “Crazy Bernie,” win Michigan on Tuesday and shake things up.

Of course, I know you’re a Bolshevik expletive, but I desperately want a contested convention in Milwaukee in July!!

Plus, you’re got to be pretty pathetic, if you can’t devise some strategy to make Sleepy/Gropey Joe squirm a little!!

Burny is going to lose to Byedone. It’s all figured in. What a dope. He loses to a senile old man. Burny’s supporters aren’t going down easy. Popcorn time.

Wouldn’t it be cool if Crazy Bernie starts demanding investigations into Burisma and the other Biden corruptions? It’s his last rodeo, what’s he got to lose? The love and respect of the DNC? LMAO.

Sanders wants to see if there's any lift to his campaign now it's one on one with Biden. The pay off might be possible then where he can be a billionaire rather than just a measly millionaire.

Whenever a presidential campaign needs to do a “reset”, it is already doomed.

Don't you just love that Guardian drama? Translation: Halfway compos mentis old guy ponders how to be more popular than senile old guy.

Burny’s supporters aren’t going down easy. Popcorn time.

So far, they seem pretty docile. Many of them couldn't even trouble themselves to vote on Super Tuesday. Maybe they spent that day smoking pot.

Yes, indeed, bring back the “Where’s Hunter” chants!!!

Ol’ Bernie strikes me as one who is mostly all bark and no bite, with very little appetite for engaging in any real battle.

Clyburn’s SC endorsement certainly turned the tide and basically nullified his wins in NH and Nevada (and perhaps a virtual tie with Mayor Pete in Iowa).

History is repeating itself and the DNC has circled their wagons around Biden—and I’m waiting for Crazy Bernie to wreak havoc against the stacked nominating system.

The DNC have succeeded in making a fool out of Sanders anew and he doesn’t seem to care!!

You know Trump is going to win, but if Bernie runs 3rd party the rats may keep the House...they will get moderate and left wing loonies out to vote for the House.

Yeah. Let this be a lesson for us. Don’t be complacent with Trump. We’ve got to vote like it’s 1999 we 2016.

About goddamned time. It’s weird watching Dems like Sanders and Bloomberg just take hits without dishing them out. It’s like watching a game where one side has no offense. Not quite as bad as soccer but pretty darned close.
