Yea, at this point, we can either have a healthcare system, or we can have something resembling a ‘normal’ economy. But we cannot have both - one will be destroyed.
So far, every country that has reached this point has chosen to save their healthcare system - but the FluBros would rather have the economy (stock market losses, maybe?).
Oh well, that’s where we are now.
Try having healthcare without a prosperous economy. You create a false dichotomy.
The current hysteria will destroy the economy which will ultimately degrade our healthcare as it is take over by the government. Then you can parrot progressive beliefs or die.
I am 2x at risk and I say let the at risk voluntarily quarantine themselves and let everyone get on with getting infected and getting on with life. Remember today’s virus response is to slow the spread not stop the spread.
