As you replied earlier, the “flu” R0 is about 1.3. I saw a chart earlier from Johns Hopkins that was based on a daily increase in COVID-19 deaths of about 1.33. Some countries were over (Spain), some under (US, SK).
Assuming that the death rate is following the infection rate, then this means COVID-19 is infecting like the flu. This would also mean that COVID-19 isn’t killing much if any worse than the flu (or maybe it is in Spain).
The data that I think is important, and have not seen, is the COVID-19 hospitalization rate, and maybe also the ICU rate. If COVID-19 hospitalizes much worse than the flu, than healthcare that can handle the flu, may not be up to handling it. In this case, I would expect deaths to go beyond the flu, from a lack of medical care.

Seasonal flu has a mortality rate of 0.1%. Coronavirus has a mortality rate of 1%, meaning ten times the chances of dying. That is why President Trump declared a national emergency for Covid-19 and not for the seasonal flu.
