When Waffle House closes you know the end of the world is near.
Don’t they know that anyone who has ever been to Waffle House (including myself) is immune to anything?
Just closed for a week or 2 NOT SHUT DOWN!
We can make it a couple weeks without the local Waffle House.
PS My Local Watering Hole / Bar is closed until 4 April (but they don’t and have never served Waffles)

Here is my favorite waffle recipe. I use three egg whites instead of one.
The President wants us to start getting back online by Easter. But more places are shutting down and more states are going “stay home”. I don’t think Easter sounds feasible at all.
They are restaurants - of course they have to close if the state/locality says to shut down “dine in”

Close rest areas
Close truck stops
Back down on truckers who ‘can’t’ operate as it is due to the heavy restrictions on them.
Before long the ‘BACK ROOM’ of all the open businesses will be empty and since the trucks are restricted etc etc the ‘main question’ will be
“How did that happen, we purposely made the grocy stores stay open”
I remember the old Toddle Houses who never closed and the ‘folklore’ was guy that had the key left in the evening and either ran off or died or whatever but he had the ONLY key to the place so they couldn’t close at 11PM like usual.
Clerk stayed open and the first night they topped the previous 3 days so they remained open.
Or something like that, I may have enhanced it a tad....BUT the gist of it is there....

Hell’s bells. Any one eating regularly at Waffle Houses has a natural immunity to damn near anything.
I wonder where folks are going to have their brawls next?, now that Waffle House is shutting down.
