Furious lawmakers voiced serious concerns on Capitol Hill late Thursday that a Republican House member could “go rogue” and possibly scuttle a vote on the $2 trillion coronavirus stimulus package, and potentially endanger other House members in the process, Fox News has learned.

Fox News is told there is deep worry on both sides of the aisle that Rep. Thomas Massie, R-Ky., could try to sidetrack House plans to quickly approve the coronavirus bill via a “voice vote” -- a verbal exercise in which those in favor shout yea, and those opposed holler nay. The loudest side would prevail.

“It’s the Thomas Massie show,” said one senior Republican source who asked to not be identified.

I’d guess that a reasonable Bill would come in under $1 Trillion.

Her novel strategy to get rid of the “old white men” club? Get some wet tissues from the COVID-19 ward in New York and rub them on the doorknobs?

I think the speaker and minority leader do not want tp reveal the vote of congressmen who are voting against the majority of their districts. It has nothing to do with a 12 hour delay, or flying back to vote.

Millions of Americans have suffered lots of times.

Millions are suffering at any given time.

Should we give away 2 trillion on a regular basis?

Are we back to “compassionate” conservatism?

What part of the constitution says “we shall spend an infinite amount on money if there is any suffering in the states. Money that we don’t have”?

I am sorry for those that are suffering.

That’s what Communities and charities and churches are for.

TOO MANY here sound like dems lately.

Even worse, liberals.

He’s already said he would sign it. Even OK’d the Kennedy center crap. He knows in negotiations you don’t get 100% and he also knows the optics. I pray it’s a majority win for the Republicans in both houses and the White House and they can trim this crap in the next 4. I also hope they learned from the Paul Ryan fiasco. When you got the majority, bludgeon the hell out of the opposition as they have done to you.

If you look at the county map of the US, it is “flyover country” money that will pay for the Big City impact.
Massie is correct...squishes like Ben Sasse of Nebraska won’t be able to hide his duplicity from his constituents.

My math is poor, but roughly divided 2.4T/300M = 8000 (not counting those rich people who don’t deserve any largesse). That’s one for you and seven for me as far as I can tell.

Can someone please help me, I can’t cipher this new math!
