What did he accomplish acting alone? Nothing. He should have worked and got a group of people involved.
But someone like him probably has no business in a legislative body today. He can be as courageous and principled as can be, but being on the losing end of 425-10 votes in the House all the time doesn’t accomplish anything. As I said about Roy Moore a couple of years ago, someone like this is far more effective in an executive position like governor where one man CAN make a real difference.
