It is disingenuous to suggest that Massie has always supported President Trump.
A Congressman does not have to reflexively support President Trump to do a good job but Massie has been on the wrong side of too many issues. You have to get into the mix and dirty your hands to get anything done. Being a purist burnishes your own halo but lets Americans down.

The savings in money paid to support illegal aliens with their born in the USA citizen children, savings from housing the illegal alien criminals in jail, the cost of their crimes to citizens & the justice department, the drugs & disease they import.
I suggest you visit his facebook page for explanations. For example he voted against the concealed carry law because it wasn’t hardcore ENOUGH!
