Collateral damage. Perhaps more deaths shall result from FEAR of the COVID-19 Wuhan virus than result from the disease itself. How many other marginal patients were pushed aside, their condition already bordering on morbidity, to make room for the flood of new coronavirus patients whose condition was steadily declining? How many of these seriously ill coronavirus patients could have avoided hospitalization with a timely start of the hydroxychloroquine-zinc-azithromycin protocol when the symptoms were first detected and confirmed?
We are not judged by what could have been, but by the actual results and how we modify our approach to future challenges.

According to the article, the assailant was "a 32-year-old patient, who was awaiting psychiatric treatment". My guess is that if the attacker is brought to trial, she'll probably go for the nutcase defense. And, in all probability, will get a trip to the local mental institution.

I can’t believe they let her walk away with a citation after attacking an 86 year old senior. That’s inexcusable and points to something very very wrong with the system. It infuriates me to no end.
