Was the attacker an ethnic that comes with a built in excuse for violent behavior? Was the poor victim a white?

Why else would they let a 32 year old walk away after punching and knocking down an 86 year old?

Something stinks here.

Both were black. I didn’t know her; but I worked in the same building. I was told she was a nice person.

According to the article, the assailant was "a 32-year-old patient, who was awaiting psychiatric treatment". My guess is that if the attacker is brought to trial, she'll probably go for the nutcase defense. And, in all probability, will get a trip to the local mental institution.
