“If China starts a war with us, I think the public might support a serious military effort.”

No, not at all. We have a serious third-column faction right here in our own DC government, not to mention throughout the country.

I have said in the past that the vast majority of those in their 20s and 30s would look up from their phones, say, “meh,” and go back to texting.

And then, there is our propagandized media. The MSM is anything but investigative journalism. They are shills for the left and cheerleaders for any faction that is essentially anti-American.

Look at who approves of the CCP. Bill Gates admires their system, among others in the elite. Youth in America born after 1990 did not learn about communism nor of its effects.

You make good points in your #28 which mentions "a serious third-column faction", "the vast majority of those in their 20's". "propagandized media", etc.

However, to counter I would remind you it is estimated that our American Revolution was won with only 5% of our population; the rest, if not actually in support of England, were nervous fence-sitters.

I will concede, of course, that history is not obligated to repeat itself.
