Visiting. Nobody is supposed to be visiting. They’re supposed to be staying home.
What is it with the Kennedys. They don’t feel the rules apply to them.
I guess it depends on what is meant by “visiting.” My son and his pregnant wife have moved in with his in-laws for the duration, in northern Maryland. The family has a large house on a small farmette, so they have a little room to legally roam. Otherwise, he only leaves if the family needs something at the store, or occasionally for work. He works in critical infrastructure, so even though about 90% of his work is telework right now, he occasionally is on-site.
The larger question is what the kennedys were doing on the water, as that appears to be prohibited under the governor’s current order. Kayaking and paddle boating are permitted for exercise, as long as all participants keep 6 feet social distancing, but otherwise, recreational boating is currently prohibited. Two people in a canoe don’t seem to quite fit into the guidelines.
They died breaking the law.
Well, there aren’t many left to feel that way. They’re a vanishing breed.
I think you have hit the correct answer. The South River at Shadyside is wide and right at the Chesapeake Bay. The water is very cold now. The wind was blowing up to 40 mph from the northeast. They never had a chance. There are some rules that a pply to all of us.
