Japan Will Pay Its Firms to Leave China, Relocate Production...Part of Coronavirus Stimulus Package

Japan is willing to fund its companies to shift manufacturing operations out of China as the disruptions caused to production by the coronavirus pandemic has forced a rethink of supply chains between the major trading partners.

As part of its economic stimulus package, Japan has earmarked $2.2 billion to help its manufacturers shift production out of China.

The Japanese government’s panel on future investment had last month discussed the need for manufacturing of high-added value products to be shifted back to Japan, and for production of other goods to be diversified across Southeast Asia.

Help to bankrupt China and send their economy into a tailspin. Make everything they produce for export subject to automatic QUARANTINE status for three months. Turn them from “biggest producer” to beggar status.

Japanese don’t think quite like Americans. I highly doubt they allowed any strategic or critical industries to go completely to China.

Newsflash ———- Some states already offer ridiculous tax incentives. Problem is the workforce here is too expensive compared to overseas.

There have always been reasons not to have businesses in China. Understatement. NOW, there is another BIG reason not to. Bring them home and start controlling human traffic from that disease pit....
