Trump made it clear this evening that governors now own their own stupidity.

He barred road construction?

Heck, construction is booming here right now.

How does being alone in a machine spread anything around?

Let alone the fact that fewer cars on the road make it easier and safer for every road worker

My brother is working on the PA turnpike bridge at the Delaware River. He mentioned Pa Gov exemption for essential infrastructure for his job as well.

But he also said “follow the money”. This contract has a schedule-based bonus/penalty. If the government shuts it down, the contractor will sue the government — which would cost the state to defend.

I’m sure we will get the go-ahead to go back to work an all the roads in PA will be smooth as glass. I’m absolutely sure of it.

Wolf is picking winners and losers with his uneven application of emergency business activity restrictions. I believe the legal liability facing state government as a result of these inconsistent policies will be enormous and create a crushing economic burden on a state that already is teetering on the edge of Financial disaster.
