If the President’s decision is “illegal”, I’m sure Pelosi can quote the law that it violates. Or is this like the “impeachment” where they wouldn’t actually point to any specific violation of the Constitution.
It’s something like a line item veto.
I read that the President can impound the funds for some brief period, like 45 days, but would need Congressional approval to withhold them past that date.
Still, I like the threat, and I hope it triggers some investigation of WTH is going on over there, and why we pay, but they deceive.
