It’s in their DNA. The Germans have a saying that order is half of the life. My daughter went four years to a German elementary school. They were checked and graded on how orderly they kept their school materials. Everything has its place. There are reasons why we have stereotypes.
Is it really bad? A messy person has little chance to succeed in life. Germany has its share of white trash although they are harder to spot but with little experience you’d learn to see and avoid them.
