Chang was called on to ask a question. President Donald Trump asked where he was from, a question seemingly to find out which media Chang worked at.
Chang responded to the question by saying he was from Taiwan, where he was born. However, his response 'covered up' the fact that he works for Dragon Television, a broadcaster owned by Chinas state-run Shanghai Media Group.
Chang violated Article 33 of the Act Governing Relations Between People of Taiwan Area and Mainland Area according to Chiu. Under the law, people are prohibited from holding any positions in Chinas political parties, military, or institutions of any political nature. Any violators could be fined from $100,000 to $500,000 New Taiwan Dollars (about $3,320 to $16,620).
Chang was the second person to be less than forthright about his affiliation with Beijing. Three days earlier, on April 6, a reporter named Wang Youyou at the Hong Kong-based Phoenix TV denied she was working for the Chinese regime when asked by Trump. Phoenix TV in fact has ties to top officials in the Chinese Communist Partys opposition faction.

why so many Chinese reporters?
Trump knows. Amazing guy.
$16,000? Is that all?
CCP intelligence operatives working on the after action report for their CCP Virus attack.
Jonathan Karl.
jmho.
If they're so "intelligent" why don't they choose "reporters" who don't look like raging ChiComs?
(or have they?)
I’ve been trying to find out what questions did Chang Ching-yi ask Trump during the press briefing. Nothing comes up.
Unlike the exchange between Wang Youyou and Trump, she’s much more obvious CCP propagandist.
For a reporter, that’s the same as several months’ salary. If not more than several months.
As well as the agents on hand who allowed this breach of security.
NPR and the WashPoo and NYet Times are going to get outraged that a reporter is under suspicion.
They were quite ok with President Obama SPYING on reporters and infecting their computers. Locking up filmmakers.
CBS replaced Weijia Jiang for obvious reasons (born in China, Zero business being a Whitehouse correspondent).
Her replacement, Paula Reid (who’s husband went to school in China and was a globalist, fabian socialist, American “fixer” in China) is a less obvious Chinese apologist.
Peter Alexander, Jim Acosta, Yamiche Alcindor are just a “useful idiots”.
Paula Reid has been super obnoxious.
Paula Reid is a lawyer, so it comes natural.
Wieja Chiang was obnoxious in a passive aggressive way. You could tell with every report she was trying to undermine trust in the presidency. I never heard a MSM reporter say something about Obama that included the phrase “with no evidence” after repeating some claim by Obama. Weija pretty much said this about everything Trump said (not to face, but behind his back). That’s obnoxious.
"Me love you long time!"
RE: Trump knows. Amazing guy.
How about the CCP sending a non-Asian looking reporter to cover up their plants?
I’d like to see how good Trump is at detecting this...
But she is one nonetheless. Plus her approach is always of vicious intent when it comes to asking questions or doing interviews, much like Acosta only she doesn't wear it as well.
