This whole issue of ventilators is overblown.
Fox News is reporting that:
“The study also revealed that the overwhelming majority of patients who were on ventilators eventually died, and those who did more often had diabetes.”
“Data gathered from 2,634 patients who either died or were discharged from the hospital showed that 12 percent of them were placed on ventilators and of those who were, 88 percent of them died.”
In other words, these ventilators are not nearly as effective in preserving lives as the media implies.
So Cuomo should be happy he could get rid of thousands of sick patients, getting paid $13,000 each by the federal government, by putting them on ventilators. You’d think with an 88% kill rate, someone would have questioned the use of intubation + ventilators as a viable therapy.
