I think you have the gist of it.....
In a sane world, our media would laugh at this or express anger at the insinuation that a student from NY caused the outbreak. If China had not lied about this and then unleashed it upon the world even as they took steps to isolate Wuhan from their own country we would not be having that conversation!!!!!!!!!!
It is possible I suppose, but in the case of China who has been dishonest about this pandemic from the outset who are you going to believe?
This is the problem with allowing continued international travel at the moment because there is no foolproof way to test at an airport gate given that carriers of the virus are likely asymptomatic short of doing full-on testing of passengers in isolation prior to them entering the airport.
