Thanks. I read the bill. There is nothing in it that states it is anti-vax. Or, that gives any indication that if accepted that it will lead to diseased animals.
It does state that small custom slaughterhouses that process food animals are subject to the laws of the state they are located in and distribution of those products are to be within the states the smaller slaughterhouses are located in. This seems to be reasonable as smaller slaughterhouses do not have the capacity to process in volumes to supply nationwide grocery demands.
You are correct. The way I read it, there is no anti-vax in the bill. It gives powers currently held by the Ag Dept to the states. Right where it ought to be. That is why I posted the bill’s text.
