Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf lashed out Monday at counties in the Keystone State that are defying his shutdown order and moving ahead with reopening businesses – threatening to withhold coronavirus aid and saying they are "choosing to desert in the face of the enemy."
Breaking from his normal, mild-mannered tone, the Democratic governor expressed his anger on Monday with a number of local elected officials who have said they will buck Wolf’s staggered reopening plan. Wolf said the defiant county officials were “operating illegally” and “jeopardizing the lives of citizens of those counties.”
“To those politicians who decide to cave in to this coronavirus, they need to understand the consequences of their cowardly act," Wolf said at a press briefing where he threatened to hold back funding to the counties bucking his plan. “They are engaging in behavior that is both selfish and unsafe.”

Two can play at that game. The counties should threaten to withhold all taxes and fees they pay in and all cooperation with State Police and other State agencies.

The District Attorneys of York, Lancaster, Beaver, and Bucks Counties (maybe more....those are just the ones I can remember quickly) have gone on record saying they will NOT prosecute any citations issued against businesses which reopen “ahead of schedule”.
Does PA have a Baker Act? I think Tom Wolf has lost it...

F It is so very clear that faux-king Tom Wolf truly believes with all his Leftist heart that to disobey his commands will kill people ... when in fact through his actions with seemingly no end in sight he will likely kill far more.
It is simply amazing to me how so very many Americans remain scared obamaless (to use a socially accepted synonym) over this virus ... even as the virus is clearly losing strength.

Your post is kind of funny, but I dont know why you would expect a response from Barr, or any decent AG, on anything within 24 hours of the event. The AG and the law enforcement agencies are supposed to be publicly issuing threats or grandstanding.

No, with Barr we will definitely not get an immediate response. We will get a year or two long investigation and a report saying some mistakes were made.
Meanwhile businesses will die, families go broke, cancers and other deadly conditions go undiagnosed, etc etc...

No kidding! They are bullies and We the People have been really kind so far. Like our nemesis China/etc. our domestic enemies only abuse kindness. Like an older friend of mine says often, “They’re of the Devil. Sorry, but it’s the truth!”
