Musk is setting the state up. He will crush them, daring them to arrest him.
I appreciate him in this but it does illustrate the rich and powerful can defy way more easily and with much more support.
My wife still doesn’t understand. She doesn’t believe that Democrats would shut down just to be petty and lord themselves over their subject. The voters would toss them. I tried to tell her no one is going to replace Nancy Pelosi in her district. “Oh because you think liberals are stupid right?”. I don’t know how to respond to that. I didn’t want to be crude in front of my kids but I thought of saying Nancy Pelosi could commit animal mutilations on live TV and still win. I don’t know if that makes liberals stupid, or just vile.
