Reporters have bashed the taskforce often about testing by using other nations as a comparison. Same with rate of deaths. Trump is trying to offer information that should encourage the American people that their president is doing all he can for them in this circumstance? If other countries pale by comparison, should their citizens be concerned?
We've read lots of stories about defective tests and PPE coming from China. California ordered masks that are being held until FDA tests them to see if they're dependable and up to our standards. K95 is similar to N95 as a standard but it's not the same.
UK, as I recall, had a problem with gowns. Canada with masks. Tanzania with tests (the infamous goat & produce positive results).
This BBC piece mentions, "Thousands of testing kits and medical masks are below standard or defective, according to authorities in Spain, Turkey and the Netherlands."
So, again, why is it a problem for any national leader to say, "ASK CHINA." China is the source of yet another virus, China tried to cover it up and disappeared people, China destroyed its earliest virus samples, China hoarded PPE, China has been dumping defective items on the world market.

IF you actually believe that President Trump’s responses to the CBS “reporter” yesterday 11MAY20 were “racist” in any respect, you are as CLUELESS, pitifully ignorant & filled with UNREASONING HATE as she obviously is.
Frankly, I’m not sure that she is competent to fill any position, much less than that of a reporter, that is more mentally challenging than being a cashier at Mickey D’s.
