The crux of this discussion I was having with you was that normal procedures should have been followed. The officers should have been put on leave and given the opportunity to give a statement to IA. Procedures are established for a reason, and they should be followed for a reason.

I wanted to go on, but you are still stuck in emotions and not wanting to understand other issues. So, we part here now.

And you’re WRONG. MPD needed to fire them. Paid leave while we wait to see if the prosecutor can be bothered to make something stick is the wrong these have been being handled for decades. It’s time for PD’s to understand that no matter what happens down the road with possible prosecution putting cops involved in these situations and vacation is a bad look. Your vaunted procedures are not working. Haven’t ever worked. It creates an image of cops being a protected class that can, and far too frequently does, get away with murder. And your desperate need to throw insults into every post shows that you know you’re full of crap.
