Shortly before 4 p.m., automated telephone calls were made to Beverly Hills residents saying protesters are entering the city and urging residents to stay at home and motorists should avoid the area.

Beverly Hills is surrounded by City of Los Angeles...If you look at the map...
I am watching the local TV coverage...
Curfew started at 8 PM...LAPD officers stopped cars in Downtown LA...They arrested drivers for violating the curfew order...The tow trucks took away their cars... Those idiots, who showed up in Downtown Los Angeles, will have to pay several hundred dollars to get the cars back...
LAPD is getting assistance from other police departments...I don't remember that ever happening...Torrance, Hermosa Beach, and Hawthorne were mentioned on KFI radio...I also heard that Ventura County Sheriff's Office is sending help to Los Angeles...
I read some Twitter messages from people who were at the "protest"...They blamed LAPD for starting the chaos... Whatever...
What a nightmare for people of Beverly Hills...Thugs, from ghettos, showed up and tried to destroy that city... I am sure those thugs live down in South Central Los Angeles or up in Northeast Los Angeles...

They always blame someone other than the people who are responsible.

Many protesters ignored social-distancing recommendations. The brainwashing runs deep.

Tear gas, rubber bullets, and bean bags are savage means of crowd control.

OK Hollywood! Time to rise! Bail them out of jail. Fund their defense. You are privileged. It's right for them to steal your stuff. Your favorite boutique should be looted right?
I mean isn't this your time to shine against Orange Man Bad? Stand with the looters!

They may be an unruly mob, but they have impeccable taste.

Those thugs and arsonist now have a taste of the good life in Beverly Hills and will no doubt be paying them weekly visits for more free loot. And DON'T YOU DARE say a word or try to stop them, or you will be called a raciss and end up on the wrong side of a lawsuit. Beverly Hills residents should back an investigation on why the LAPD looked the other way, and allowed those looters , arsonists to trespass into their community.

"LAPD is getting assistance from other police departments...I don't remember that ever happening..." I don't have a link or photos, but I'm pretty sure that in 1992, The Rodney King riots, there were agencies from all over the state in L.A. assisting LAPD.

Many protesters ignored social-distancing recommendations. Heavens to Betsy! Well, they can loot, burn, steal, destroy, and murder all they want. But please dont violate social distancing or go out without your mask on! Thats a real crime.

it despite all that the reporter is most horrified that they ignored social distancing. Mayhem. vandalism and theft are Ok but failing to maintain social distancing is the worst
