Just as the Islamic State (ISIS) claimed territory in Iraq and Syria, antifa militants have claimed territory in Seattle, Wash. According to reports on the ground from The Post Millennial’s Andy Ngo and Townhall’s Julio Rosas, protesters and antifa instigators have seized land in the Capitol Hill area around the Seattle Police East Precinct. Like ISIS, the rioters appear to have decided on setting up a government in their occupied territory, naming it “Free Capitol Hill.”
“Seattle [Mayor Jenny Durkan] is allowing a dangerous situation to fester. [Antifa] militants have taken over & created an ‘autonomous zone’ in city w/their own rules. Police precinct abandoned. Antifa set up barricades to create a border. Calling for volunteers to provide armed guard,” Ngo tweeted.
His message included tweets from rioters and pictures of the “Free Capitol Hill” poster on the side of a barricade, along with a map of the area antifa had taken over.
“The Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone. Folks in Seattle have secured six block of city [at the moment], barricaded it, and gotten local businesses and residents to agree to, well, disaffiliate from Seattle basically. It’s a flux state in the making,” Alex Humva tweeted.
“Speaker at the autonomous zones advocating folks with firearms take shifts defend the barricades. Sh*t is getting organized,” another inside the barricades tweeted.
The map Ngo tweeted claims to represent Seattle on the night of June 8. Antifa rioters claim to have taken over the “Capital Hill Free Zone (Protester Occupied Seattle)” in yellow. The zone includes the “Captured Regime East Precinct (Abandoned Police Station with doors left unlocked lol),” along with areas marked “Commune Food Stations,” “CHFZ Commune Barricades,” “Relaxation & Dining Field (food regularly handed out + coffee bar),” and a “Stoa (Informal Congregational Area).”

Seattle is replete with leftists who are self-loathing. Much of what is driving their lunacy is an awareness that their ideas, their arguments and their lives are fraudulent and worthless . They are angry at everything and everyone who holds a different opinion. Their existence is absent any positive value. They are not strong enough to do themselves in.

Capitol Hill is the heavily gay area of Seattle...similar to Castro in San Francisco.
I haven't visited since June of 1982. It was beautiful then. I would ride the ferry across the sound just for the views.

Some People Just Need Killing
American conservatives need to take back the Blue. Everywhere else on the planet Red is for leftists and Blue is for conservatives. Here, in Canada, the Liebral party uses Red, the Conservative Party uses Blue (and the social-democrat party uses Orange). Even Antifa uses a Red (communist) and Black (anarchist) colour scheme.
It is my understanding that some legacy network switched the colours, a few decades ago for reports on an election. That was a dirty trick. Leftists knew that Red = communists and they wanted to confuse everyone. Just as they called themselves ‘liberals’ — when they're anything but. They even wore ‘liberal’ out, so they now call themselves ‘progressives’ — never mind that the progress is toward oblivion.
Why are Dems even willing to use Blue colours, when saying “Blue Lives Matter” is supposidly racist?
Drones can surely be more precise.
Well, they have the high ground. They can set up artillery and mortars. If they go on as long as Occupy Wall St., the stench will clear out the rest of the city.
I went through TV production school with a girl who loved Seattle so much, she married a guy from Charlotte in late 90s and I think still lives around the queen city.
Other political grifters have found themselves in Seattle at some time or another. 0bama's mother and her parents spent time there. A sixteen foot tall bronze statue of Lenin has been parked in the area for years. Makes me wonder what's in the water up there.
Capitol Hill is where all the homosexuals and other odd balls live. Some folks have been saying put up a fence around it all for a long time now. So win-win!
