The presidential re-election campaign for Donald Trump is requiring supporters going to a rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to sign a coronavirus disclaimer to attend.

The campaign’s ticket registration site includes the disclaimer that says attendees “assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19” and agree to not hold the campaign liable for any illness or injury. The rally is scheduled for June 19 at the BOK Center, an arena with over 19,000 seats.

“By clicking register below, you are acknowledging that an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present,” the website says. “By attending the Rally, you and any guests voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19 and agree not to hold Donald J. Trump for President, Inc.; BOK Center; ASM Global; or any of their affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents, contractors, or volunteers liable for any illness or injury.”

Sounds reasonable

All life involves risks. It’s time we factor covid into that and start living our lives again

Yes, it absolutely sounds reasonable. But they will still attack him for it.

This is the same thing people have to agree to if they go into one of the casinos just opened in Cali.

Without this ambulance chasers would be thicker than looters.

I ask the left...Did the riot organizers require this acknowledgement ??

If not, why not?

Oh, that’s right...COVID doesn’t exist at leftist/DNC riots.

You mean you won’t be able to sue Trump if you get sick, even if you can’t prove where it happened? Taking responsibility for your own actions..............sounds like White privilege to me.

Any people who did not attend but are made sick by someone who did, may have a case for court.

...but that case would be against the person who attended and not Trump or the rally organizers.

I suppose a particularly enterprising ambulance chaser could gather a bunch of people who were infected by attendees of the rally and create a class action lawsuit.

It would just be another sign that the end of the US is imminent.

People who are attending are going to have to weigh the risks on this one. An older crowd, squished together, lots of yelling and heavy breathing, people who will come in spite of feeling crummy because they don't want to miss President Trump and hanging out with like-minded people.

I wouldn't recommend it, but people are going to do what they do.

Forget Tulsa for another few months or maybe even until next years perhaps. Oh wait, after Trump gets reelected there won’t be any need. Oh well a win-win..

Of course it’s reasonable and the right thing to do. Everybody is fully aware of what this Cov 19 business,
And yes they’ll attack him, but they’ll attack him for breathing.

Not surprising.Otherwise imagine how many Maoists would claim to have been infected at a rally.

Under medicare now.

I cannot get medical treatment from Eye Dr or dentist without signing this waiver.

Damn lawyers. There is no business incentive to be clean if they have a get out of jail free card.

Some left wing loons would go just to infect Trump supporters.

This is perhaps another reason why the left hates Trump rallies, because they also provide signals on how to pave a new way in society.

With this waiver signing, a new way for business to open up is revealed...restaurants can open without masks, so can sports venues, and so on.

All the hipsters can wear masks and eat Kobe beef six feet from the rest of the cool kids, while losers like me can do shots of ouzo and catch a live punk band in a basement.

Did you check another doctor & dentist?

How many are making people sign this?

The disclaimer language is almost identical to the signage on the doors of every parish church in the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Pittsburgh.

Life has risk.

Live or hibernate.
