a community center may be a fine addition but NOT to replace a FIRE STATION, for goodness’ sakes

Forget Seattle, the politicans have ruined it!
it is lost cause

That’s going to work out really well when the next fire breaks out and gets out of control because there’s no nearby fire station to respond.

Or when someone needs 911 for a heart attack or car accident, or shooting and there are no response teams nearby.

I don't know if this was an active station or a mothballed one. It seems absurd to replace an active fire station with a "community center" that will just be a rallying point for radical troublemakers.

If they now have delayed responses to fires in the area, it will be blamed on "institutional racism."

Seattle has plenty of community centers. Aren’t blacks welcome at each and every?? A community center for blacks alone violates the Constitution and the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

Lack of a Fire station in the area will effect property owners’ insurance rates. Great move Seattle. Also will the property owner get a lower property tax rate since services are being reduced?

“Community center” — Big Media euphemism for military HQ.

Community centers in the black communities end up revenue slush centers......not to mention those who take a cut from the donations.

Now the arson will be more effective. Defund the Fire Department!

If it was a closed fire station, that sat vacant, that is one thing. However, it does not appear that is the case.

Sounds like Seattle can be homesteaded.

The mayor is a lunatic and much of the City Council are communists of assorted stripes (or Hammer & Sickles).

I’m sure the occupiers can become fire-fighters over night.

Pray for those they think they can help.

Nuke the city from orbit just to be sure!
