No knocks and asset forfeiture both must go.

I agree, the pendulum has swung too far to police actions.

Why not do a top-to-bottom review of law enforcement strategy, and its leadership, given the ineffective job done by police leaders in our largest cities?

No one seems to be taking any responsibility for their actions anymore, it's mostly excuses and finger pointing.

The nonsense I've been hearing wouldn't have passed muster back when I was a platoon leader in Germany.

True. These types are almost invariably political hacks who have zero interest in or the competence to be capable leaders. They are often gadflys flitting from city to city to advance their own careers. Actual day to day operations tend to be managed by equally incompetent stooges. Ability to suck up to democrat mayors is primary skill of these losers. Chicago a prime example.
