HOUSTON – The surveillance video is difficult to watch.
Four guys can be seen walking up to another man leaving an Exxon convenience store in Harris County and beating him up.
The victim identified himself as Mason. He never let go of his groceries as his attackers took turns punching and kicking him on the ground. He was alone for only several seconds when a fifth attacker walked up.
“He comes up to me, kicks me in the face, and screams, “Black Lives Matter, b****!” Mason said.

Apparently they didn’t beat any sense into him.
The Biblical rule (”eye for eye”) would be to beat them up, each five on one, including the kick to the face part, risking brain damage and other permanent injury, and even risking death.
It would especially be appropriate for leaders of the black community to join in pummeling the thugs so as to communicate that this isn’t a white versus black thing, but the law versus criminals thing.
As for the criminals, they could either take their punishment “like a man,” or offer monetary damages to the victim (ha!), or beg for forgiveness. It would be for the victim to decide.
As for repeating this daily, no.

I was referring to the possible brain damage leading to such statements by this guy...
I understood that. IF he would have at least thrown one punch in self defense, I would be in total agreement with you. He didn’t.
When I was a lot younger (his age, perhaps) a couple of buddies and I were surrounded and attacked by a group of 10 black guys. Yeah, we were on their “turf” so I suppose we were “asking for it” as the cops later told us. We got our keisters kicked, no question. But. We did manage to put a pretty good hurting on a couple of them before it was all said and done. I got hit in the head with a tire iron(?) which took me out of action with a concussion and required several stitches but we survived it.
I just can’t see going down without a fight. That thought is repulsive to me.
